Meticulous Organization in a Complex Roof Repair
We had used Rankin Skyline to repair a small flat roof on our previous home and were very happy with their work, so following a move to another home, we called them when we discovered the roof was leaking. This was a much more complex situation with multiple flat sections (some covered with old decks) and four skylights. George and his team did an outstanding job from start to finish – temporary patching to get through the winter, advice on coordinating the other trades that would be needed, arranging for scaffolding, and then the re-roofing itself. Their work was meticulous, they dealt efficiently with a few additional issues that arose during the project, and finished the job down to the last details. We were completely satisfied with Rankin Skyline and would have no hesitation in acting as a reference.

Rankin Skyline Services Handles Architectural Details
Rankin Skyline Services was responsible for completely replacing the EPDM type membrane and flashing on the roof of our three-story, 28-unit strata. The project was complicated due to the number of architectural details, skylights and roof hatches. We had hired an independent supervisor for the project, but such was the high quality of the work performed by Rankin that when the supervisor failed to perform his duties, it had zero impact on the project. I have dealt with trades people for over 30 years in Vancouver, and none have equaled Rankin’s competence, work ethic and attention to detail. George Rankin’s daily site reports were comprehensive and kept one abreast of progress. The project was completed to our complete satisfaction, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Rankin when it comes time to replace our skylights and roof hatches.

Rankin Skyline Services provided service that was above and beyond our expectations during all aspects of our roofing upgrade, from the initial consultation to the final installation. George provided us with a comprehensive quote that was fair, accurate and detailed. The installation of our roof was done professionally and accurately, with no problems afterward with any type of leak or waterproofing issues. Considering our roof contains 5 skylights, all of which had previously leaked, this was no small task. There wasn’t one piece of debris, nail or shingle left around the house after the job completion either. The cleanup was fantastic. The service received during the roofing of our home was very high quality. These things made it so. Rankin Skyline sent us prior information and choices on the roof products that could be installed. Any questions during installation were answered promptly and courteously. The company complied with WCB safety practices. The estimate was accurate. The installation was completed efficiently and in minimal time. Now for the crew. The roofers worked efficiently and with respect for our property, our neighbours' property and with minimal disruption to daily life in our home. At the end of each working day, the yard was cleaned up and tools were neatly stacked or removed. We didn't ever feel that our property had been turned into a construction site. Not only were we impressed, but neighbours have hired Rankin Skyline for roof repair. I believe that reinforces our positive experience. As a final comment, the new skylights are great!
